The similarities and differences between the Ancient Rome art and Early Christian art would be based on a change from polytheism to monotheism. There would be some similarities between the two simply because Early Christian art has borrowed much ideas from the Ancient Rome art. Also, there was similarity in both styles of wall paintings. The brush strokes they used were same. Also, the way Christ is looking in the early Christian fresco on the Catacomb Ceiling of St, Peter is similar to that of Greco-Roman appearance with no beard and young.
